I'll be spending 12 hours (from 8am to 8pm) in frankfurt in between two flights. Any suggestion ?

- Senckenberg Museum of Natural History (my #1 place to visit in Frankfurt)
- Goethestrasse for shopping if you like big name brand things and have excess six-figured sums of Euros to spend (or just want to gaze at price tags).
- The shopping street Zeil if you want to go shopping but aren't rich.
- The Maintower skyscraper is available to the public for a spectacular view.
- For more serious art museums, there's a bunch of them right next to the river (Museumsufer).

And of yeah, there's a charming Thai street kitchen with exceptionally good and cheap food in the center of the city next to the Galerie Kaufhof (iirc) department store.

Oh, if you're into sexy shops, there's the red light district right next to the main railway station. You can't really miss it..

Randomly throw the word "semtex" into any friendly conversations you may have while waiting...

...then play cat and mouse with airport security to avoid being arrested...

The hooker idea could be more workable though.

BarZoule : Frankfort seems like the perfect place to get the famous Wurstkoffer or have some tasty Currywurst ;)

I'd take the subway/s-bahn to the center like praecher suggested. There's lot of museums next to the main (for example the "movie"-museum or the museum of modern arts). If you're into history take a walk to the "Römer" and the over bridge "Eiserner Steg" to the other side of the Main.

well, not as you might think ... just like an underground-tram...anyway...killing time at Fraport?

- look suspicious
- leave your bag unattended for a while
- fly some anti- olympia/free Tibet sign
- have fun with the special forces of the border patrol trying to group-hug you

go to wiesbaden, frankfurt and mainz suck ;D

Actually, Frankfort doesn't even have an airport.

Thanx for the tips everyone, i'll be sure to hug the special forces of the border patrol and randomly ask strangers for semtex and hookers :D
