I've never seen those 2 groups greet each other in their demos, is there some kind of "I don't get along with those guys" thing. Just wondering since both groups make awesome prods, even if Fairlight is dead and it doesn't matter.

How funny things can some people recognize. :)

I'm still doing so and I think a lot of people handle it the same way. Sometimes, I also greet unknown groups that made prods I liked.

we (excess) only greet our friends. the trouble is that we have so many friends so the list really is too long already. maybe we should start bashing some of them and tell nasty rumours about their mothers to shorten the list. :)

tomcat: yeah, i noticed that tbl/conspiracy thing, too. i think it began when some years ago tbl did not greet conspiracy in one of their early prods. and then conspiracy did not greet back even harder and then all hell was breaking loose...

and yes - neither fairlight, triton or fc had ever greetet fr. and you all know what happened to them. so everybody beware!

hey, fiver and gizmo doesnt end their nicknames here on pouet with the same acronyme, fiver got fB and gizmo got fr, does this mean theese 2 ppl hate eachothers and want to kill eachothers and therefore dont want to have the same letters in their pouet nicks? is this some cind of world conspiricy or a small fraction of farbraush thats gonna leave the group and start fbaraush? everybody panic!

the reason why we don't greet fairlight: nearly all our greetings so far have been written by me, and i'm notorious about forgetting half to three quarters of who i want to greet as soon as i'm actually typing the list. for example, at breakpoint, weasel "kindly informed" me that we forgot to greet cap in all fr productions so far. he's mentioned in candytron. if fairlight care(d) for being greeted, they could just give me a short notice stating that. :)

anyway, i didn't know any fairlight members personally till sunday on breakpoint 2003, and i do think it's kinda stupid to greet people you've never talked to.

don't know why they didn't greet us. and i really don't know why i care about this post at all and write such a long reply to it. who cares :)

read the scrolltext again. the exact wording is "the product makes you feel the urge to greet", not "we greet". so you feel urged to greet us. which is okay. :)
