PC 64k!
Yeah, as unssi says: munny!
i vote c-64 again...
reasons:
a) slashdot nerds get wanky over it
b) it was huge in there
c) it will show what JUUROPEAN HACKÖRS still do with old machine
d) all this factors combined, money. it will fucking print money and then you can make atari dvd next...

I also dig the idea of having a 64k (perhaps combined with 4k) intro dvd. Perhaps then there would be finally a proper video version of Hplus. :)
I'd enjoy 64k intros recorded in HD - would be a lovely contrast :)
C64!
Mindcandy 8-bit?
unssi: don't get your hopes THAT high though - the C64-on-DVD market is rather covered already, and just because it's a C64 doesn't make much of a difference.
garga: well honestly i dont live in usa so i dont know. i just think c-64 is fucking magic words to some idiots like amiga and open source is
You can always market it as something related to the chiptune scene ;)
yea, coz EIGHT BIT IS HUUUUUUUUUUGEE!
I vote for sth else than C64, there are plenty of C64 dvds out there already. Consoles or other 8-bit platforms than C64 sounds like a nice way to go.
what melwyn said, in-your-face PC 64k!
I go for 64k intros too.
PC 64 KB - YES.
C64 - LATER...

I'd really like a dvd full of not-so-mainstream platforms/demos.
The problem with C64 demos is that there already are quite many C64 demo DVD's. Digital Memories 1 & 2, Meet the Family, C64 Demosampler 1 & 2...
Some of them can even be downloaded for free (legally) so it might be hard for MindCandy to compete.
Another "problem" is that Vice and other emulators are just so good that nobody has difficulties watching any C64 demo on their computer, which may also reduce sales of a C64 demo DVD.

I would like a nice PC 64 KB compilation on DVD.
A 64KB DVD would be great, but why limit it to PC when there's also a lot of nice intros on Amiga?
A C64 Mindcandy DVD would be excellent!
I for one would _NOT_ pay for a DVD filled with C64 demos. There simply is not enough variation to justify hours and hours of the same color-tricks and fake 3D. (no offence C64-guys :)
The intro concept is much more appealing (64k AND 4k, not just 64k) - it will be an easy sell, since the first thing non-sceners marvel at is the size-limited stuff.

BK-0010!
kusma: They should make one with only Siemens SL45i-demos. We would sooo own that DVD.
I hate to be even more of a pessimist (I'm lying, pessimism rules) but perhaps the entire concept is a bit dated now. After all the target audience is computer geeks who have fast internet connections and might not be into buying physical media anymore and/or think DVD quality is no longer adequate.
Valid point, but who says the next one has to be a DVD? HD-DVD and Blu-Ray should be within publishing posibility range in the next six months or so.
How about skipping the whole "era"-thing all together and just do a release with _THE BEST_ of the scene? (I know, who decides what "the best" are.. do a friggin' large public vote, and/or use the nominees from the Scene.org Awards)
