anyway, i think you might need to add another platform to the list... :-) i've been sorting/adding loads of atari XL/XE prods lately, and i'm quite sure at least some of them would qualify for the text mode demo archive.

exactly how many depends on the exact definition of text mode demo. for example, this prod:

it's an asciipack, but with an intro with "normal" efx and gfx.

there's also some prods that are definitely 100% textmode, such as the "odbyt design" efforts, and "rock & roll" or "revenge of h.t.".

if you want, i'll knock up a list of what has been added to pouet already, and keep you posted about any archive candidates that may be found in the future... sofar, i've upped 4 out of 22 of the archive disks, so there's likely to be a lot more out there.

Hmm, hollowman, you didnt get anything. By "not back in demoscene" and "but before 2002, they never ever claimed to be part of the demoscene", I was talking about the part of the Tristar boyz who did NOT join the merge, for hell sake. do you see anything released between 1990 and 2002? or maybe am i fucking blind, but hey, sorry, but i cant see shit between those two dates. But as i already told it, i'm maybe blind! Go hollowman, and fix the falsely credited tristar's intros, but before that, read again what i said, maybe you havent got it all again?

Hollowman : Yawohl. Tristar released shit on the warezscene from their creation till 1990, and were active in the server hacking scene. Some guys got busted for that, and Ami met some of them after a long time, thus "founded" the demodivision of Tristar we all know today. Tristar will be 20th in next July, join us (Wuppertal/Germany) and let's forget all of that shit with some beers :)

ANYWAYS- TRISTAR NEVER CLAIMED TO BE ELITE IN SOMEWAY. EVERYBODY IS FRIENDLY AND OK THERE...EVEN AMFM WAS VERY K. BUT IN SOME WAYS HE TURNED TO BE A "ein kleiner frecher junge, der wenn er nicht die schnauze hält mal zeitnah eins in die selbige kriegt ", BUT THATS K TOO. DAXX IS A LEAGUE OF ITS OWN. BY THE WAY ITS NOT TRUE THAT THEY WERE ACTIVE IN SOME HACKING SCENE. MAYBE SOME MEMBERS WERE INVOLVED, BUT WHATEVER TRS DID OVER THE LAST YEARS- IT WAS 100% "LEGAL".

Is it just me or is this a war between a bunch of fat jobless 40-year-olds that used to be l33t homecomputer guys in their childhood, but sadly failed to keep up with the last 15 years worth of scene development? Like "oldschool" as in "so old they forgot the most basic principles they should have learned in school"? ;)

Hey oldschoolers: Stop wasting your time with flaming, get a few books, learn to read and try to at least to remotely reach today's scene standards in regards of communication and tech skills. Or you will be death.
