Hi there...
just through some insane mistake i found this webside... nice..
I remember the time i seen all the kool demos and even after i sold my Amiga i never really was happy.
I need my Amiga again...haha
Anyway, are on this board some people using their Amiga still? Are their any new demos available?
Someone around here who is from Frankfurt/Germany?

well funny enough... im from frankfurt
Yes, there are new demos available. Have a look at Starstruck from TBL. But the scene is a shade of itself. Sadly.
Oh it is NOT.
Yes there are still Amiga users; and there are other sceners who don't use Amigas but still remember the Amiga; and there are Atari users who it turns out were actually clued as well, and then there's the speccy scene and... And there are a lot of decent PC demos, and there are some great GBA demos, and it's just as alive as it was, it's just 2006, not 1992. Or 1987. Or 1938, for that matter.
But no there aren't as MANY Amiga productions these days, but there are a lot more than you'd have thought when Commodore decided to cash out to give the CEO's and Board big cash prizes.
But don't forget to look at some of the other stuff too.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: The scene isn't as bad as you think it is, and it wasn't as good as you thought it was. It just rules.

truck you own ;)
1938 had amigas that could beat your amigas
in other words: times changed - and thank fuck for that.
I just gave a massive thumb to NorthStar Megademo I, but I'm still pretty happy that we're not in 1988 scenewise.
Arch remember to thumb BOTH NS megademo I's ;)
(dunno why there's two of them?)

I believe our perceptive friend Break just reported this to "Fix me...". But of course it still gets two thumbs from me!
I know Crown/CRB only uses Amigas at home.
no wonder he's a bit slow
Death to the scene! Death to the Amiga!
AMIGA600 RULEZ!!!
Its only human to stick with things they know for a long time and have greet feelings and memories with..
In real life you have to keep up or get swallowed
but for your hobby you can get retro in the end ;)
You can't stop progress from happening even in the amiga scene ;)

I gotta agree with Ghandy, it has faded over time.
Amiga scene sucks.. too funny it halveway converted to PPC just to find out it sold out to another technology without any future.. haha..
Stelthz: Right on! The Amiga has got to go!
Yea...rotten crapamachines...burn'em!
Dunno why I still do all graphic work and receive all my POP3 emails with this Apache Server running - 100Mbit LAN connected junkbox from the mid 1990's.

If the Amiga hadn't of happened, we wouldn't be here. Rose tinted specs talk isn't so bad. 8o)
well, yes. The amiga times are over, but it's just 10 years ago i used one or two.
Time goes by fast.
I am one of those guy's who merged to the pc and not to the Apple.

Man....DC Telnet is th3 shit! ;)
100mbit Lan connected to an 68k Amiga? What a waste, even copying to memory it can not max out the speed.
