teel: I judged from the screenshots - though I'd prefer something like "ok these two directories are allowed the rest is taboo for the plugin".

oh yes, install a plugin that will reveal all your pirated metallica mp3s!
who's to say that they're pirated? :) i for instance rip all my legally bought cds... (and vinyls too, for that matter)
I would too, if only my CD drive was working. I'm missing six months worth of music I've bought/traded and unfortunately it shows on my playlist :(

I'm also trying to rip all my cds, but it's slow 'cos I'm so lazy :)

six months worth of music? that's quite a lot: 6*30*24 = 4320 hours... i don't have _that_ much music :))
[to be ontopic: i don't have say half of my mp3's tagged; also i'm quite paranoid. otherwise it's a nice idea]

I hardly ever listen to CDs directly anymore, even though I buy them regularly. Digital media = digital media.

Sucks that there's no Scrobbler plugin for vinyl players though :)

I meant six month's worth of music I've bought.. which amounts to something like 70 CDs, all of which would be on my computer and many of which would be listened to regularly. My music collection on my computer only spans around 6000 files right now..

this tool is like a second derivative of napster. you see what others are playing, chat around and end up swapping files thru direct connection. oh no, we should stay away from illegal copying ;)

kinda like anything else where you can chat, what with "np: bleh - bluh" and all that :)
I was joking of course. But, speaking about this, it would be interesting to see what are the approximate ratios of average cd prices and average income in different countries. For example here in hungary it's about 1:25 or 1:30 (that is, you can buy about 30 cd-s from the average monthly income)

Add to the ripping of vinyl truck's ripping of various tapes he had which weren't even ever pressed to vinyl...

NO NOT 8 TRACKS.

Never had one of those things actually (:
