I know that i dont remember the name of the guy i first heard talking about pouet. I have tried to find him but can't. How many of you have thought about the hands that held you senseless trolling first? I know this is a weird question.

I found out about pouet when I googled for the Vip2 demo, several years ago =)

i think i first heard about pouet from fred/cdx when cde started deteriorating. but i never actually checked it or used it till much later...

iirc it was dixan who emailed me a bunch of comments about mfx demos posted on pouet...

i think i discovered pouet by myself.

iirc it was analogue who told me he just made that site. At that time, i wasn't yet in the group.
I browsed pouët often but I was too lazy to create an account and post comments :D

Stil: same here, I guess Analogue asked us to test it the same day.
However, it toolk me years to finally create an account :)

i just find it's a nice topic. not because i started it, just because it's a nice topic.

It was probably the collective .nfo files of a bunch of demos I downloaded from... um... the guy who made Modplug Tracker. He used to have Windows exe versions of the TBL 64k intros, and then I found a few more like them...
