I was really annoyed when this was called fake in the compostudio. LCD text/font demos FTW!

it was nice, but considering it was being dumped from a PC and that it was actually called megademo 2, it felt quite short, piggy for that.

Yes, it is running on a PC like the previous one. I guess it should have been made more clear but I dislike the idea of having an intro to a demo/platform inside the demo.
Would the actual demo be any better if it was run on some microcontroller dev board or an Amiga? The effects are so simple and lowres they could come from any host hardware. For me the "demo" here is trying to make (somewhat) good looking things on a screen not really suitable for demos and with a very low resolution.

Additionally, everything is real time. The programmable characters are modified every frame for the credits part, the vertical bars and the stretchy rectangle.

that this is controlled from a pc (or any other external modern computer) is ok but the fact that the music was way too newschool for the theme.
yes i think if you had used a µc or AMIGA(ish) computer you would have gotten more respect.

The music's a horrible fucking mess but I liked this as a whole anyways :D
I have to confess. I lost it at "HD ready" when I saw this for the first time.
wow! impressive. I like the text "Scrollers suck", reference to Panic by FC.
sick! the challenge in this platform is obviously in the limited refresh rate and resolution of the display, don't see why the actual code running on a pc would somehow make this less impressive
