Cool stuff, though as a newschool person I'm not sure that I really got everything that's cool about this.

Not bad at all. Scrollers all the way served with nice pixels and music.
Is that first tune a tron legacy cover? =)

A demo about sprites and sprite multiplexing. Not much variety, but well designed for the most part.

Don't know about the first one, but the second tune is definitely a cover. It's video games. =)

First tune is a cover of Tron Lecay (End title) by Daft Punk. Second tune is a funk version of Lana Del Rey's Video Games. Third tune (Melonade) and the last one (Alpha Bitch) as well as the note tune (Channels) are original compositions. :)

sprite porn. good colors, music, and gfx to back it up. interesting to hear a different cover of the tron legacy endtheme than this one.

Apart from the technical aspect which i can't judge, the demo is quite classic and well polished. I especially enjoyed the vector balls, plasma and the überkewl graphics by Yazoo!

Cute demo which refers to the past. I like such productions from Booze Design.

The demo itself is not that interesting but the tunes are just great. Please release them separate.

LOL that's crazy. Demo is fucking ace from the beginning to the end. Everything is just so smooth that it looks easy/unimpressive...

But yeah the tunes are really good. How come they haven't been ripped yet? Did Booze hide them deep in there somewhere to keep lamers from using them in their demos?

"Well, technology is a glittering lure. But there's the rare occasion when the public can be engaged on a level beyond flash, if they have a sentimental bond with the product. My first job, I was in-house at a fur company, with this old pro copywriter. Greek, named Teddy. And Teddy told me the most important idea in advertising is "new". Creates an itch. You simply put your product in there as a kind of... calamine lotion. But he also talked about a deeper bond with the product: nostalgia. It's delicate... but potent. Teddy told me that in Greek, "nostalgia" literally means, "the pain from an old wound". It's a twinge in your heart, far more powerful than memory alone. This device isn't a spaceship. It's a time machine. It goes backwards, forwards. It takes us to a place where we ache to go again. It's not called the Wheel. It's called a Carousel. It lets us travel the way a child travels. Around and around, and back home again... to a place where we know we are loved."
Matthew Weiner and Robin Veith (Mad Men, Season 1, "The Wheel").
