From the website: "Currently this probably only runs on MacBook with GMA950".
Runs with unwatchable artifacts on an intel MBP (with ATI X1600). I'll give my thumb when the final version is out :-)
It's still done in too much hurry but it's way better than previous releases.

The comment still stands :) I can't imagine how a production can look like this in 2007.

Doesn't run at all on my MBP (the Nvidia kind), so I guess that's that.

was it straightforward for everyone that there is a tar file in the zip? when i first unpacked it there was only a file with no extensions... i had to open it in textmate to figure out that this is a tar... after adding the extension I was set to play the intro finally :)

Greg, ever heard of the 'file' tool? :b

About this 64KB, very nice Amiga OCS trackmo feeling, but groups like Farbrausch have entirely changed "64K" as a category.

nah, feels like a rather boring Amigaprod from late 90ies.
I bet alot of "known" coders regret not entering a 64K this year....not much competition this year.

under the par, but on par with the level of asm07 64k compo.

now that i watched it again it looked like a joke-entry. and FUCK, it stuttered like a js-"demo"

party winner ?
No sound on my mac :) and it runs slow on gf7400, some effects (e.g. leafs) are missing. Looks like unfinished A600 intro from 1994, ported to mac now.

OMG, no... Give no thumb down only because of platform. Keep doing something on Mac, but try harder next time, please :)
By the way, video quality is good enough.

This segmentation faults on my macbook pro with 8600m GT.

Erm. Slow as hell on my Macbook. Still, not that well designed. Piggy.

ugly; slow; + what greg said; and:

music is blatantly ripped (at least the main theme). And rebirth was disqualified from the asm'04 compo for ripping the exactly same tune (at least to my ears, but definitely from the same source). The difference is that rebirth is 4k, and sounds much better...
sucks added on the 2007-11-29 18:10:07 by blala blala
No, the music isn't ripped, and I would love to hear what you think it is, because it has no similarities to what I hear when I listen to humus4.
Just listened to "Ron van den beuken - Overdrive", very tastefully chosen set of chords in the chorus haha, different key though. The melody isn't even close. If this is called ripping a song Overdrive is a rip of "HIM - Join me in Death", but it isn't. Many songs has the same chords... Source? What source!?! I think the Timbaland story really has put ghosts in less experienced music knowers heads!

the song isn't the best component anyway, nothing great but not bad either. i liked it.

I liked it, too.

well, maybe the problem is with my ears. Listened about 5 fives times both before posting that comment, though...

Worked fine on my SR MacBook, although there were some transparency issues here and there. I too faced the .tar issue.
