Absolutely love the huge amount of cheese in this demo. The music playing robot in particular was a really sweet touch.

Top class!
Kicks ass!
Most of the scenes look like they were copied directly from Shadertoy.
Wunderful!
the daytime city flight alone deserves a thumb up! deserved winner :)
Very nice, even more phenomenal than The Message. But it could have had a more cohesive theme or message, now it was just a classic demo with a lot to show but little to tell. Big respect for keeping the hardware requirements relatively modest, we need more of that in newschool IMO.
What a ride…. !!!!
Congratulations!
I wish someday you use a software synthesiser and pack music into a few kilobytes. You can win Assembly demo compo with 200 kb total size. It would be a massive kick to the Scene.

yeah, bombastic demoscene kitsch done the way it should. i like the rendering fidelity too... like the DOF/soft focus on the camera throughout the entire thing kinda helps the coherency despite the random scenes :D
Great!
nice. But the scenes feel rather random.
I was glad this won again over in a very small size compared to very high fidelity demos running on game engines. The very energetic music, style and clear visuals with nice colors already does it for me.
Very cool demo
Love those in your face optimistic vibes this is giving.
I would otherwise have a hard time deciding on the winner among all the cool entries at Assembly this year, but the impressively small file size acted as a tie breaker for me. :)
Strong demovibes!
Is this the first time a JavaScript demo wins Assembly?
Oh, it's not.
Quality Web demo!! Very clean rendering and solid music. The engine is viable for 64k usage for sure
Very demo-like in all respects. Perhaps a bit too much of this and that crammed into one production, tho.
Nice one! Quite tasteful take on some tropes - the tonemapping, colourgrading and cinematography really made it work well. Fitting music as well.
What Preacher said.
Cheesy and random, but some undeniably nice looking scenes and the passion for doing this shows. I'd like to see some evolution happening in further releases though :)
This is the way.
ha! some extremely cheesy scenes, some rather basic scenes, a bit too much reliance on good old fractals and making everything shiny, and everything is pretty random and cliche.. yet it works.
these guys seem to have a good understanding of how much time to keep something on screen so it doesn't get old (or be dissected), how to make a scene have a clear focus, a key point and a bit of development, smart camera angles and cuts, how to add the little touches that make it a bit more interesting (like a fisheye camera or a sync point), and how to create consistency between random content by consistent style and colour grade. i think that's called "good direction".

very nice, stylish and cool demo. Like the amount of scenes, cool lightning fx, great music and ideas... just all in one an amazing and very enjoyable entertainment scene prod! Keep on this great work.
The robot is holding the shoulder synthetizer upside down.
Beginning was good and reminded me of Cyberpunk 2077 then it went same old. Piggy.
Not exactly my kind of demo but scenes looks pretty good. Potential highlights: the city and coins
Excellent in every way. Well done!
I had a big happy grin on my face the whole time. This demo emanates a powerful, positive energy.
Great colors and use of raymarching - probably the best such demo ever.
Great demo with great effects and sound
i cri evry tiem i start up this demo.
Delightful. Definitely quite random, but props for effort.
As a fractal enthusiast, I already love this demo, it reminds me of the excellent Turtles All The Way Down/Subdream, but the music really ties everything together. Minor nitpick: the transitions go so fast I didn't even notice them at the compo, only when re-watching.
Solid Prod! Love the fractal scenes, excellent composition, lighting and color grading!
Hell yeah! Strong demo vibes for sure and while there are many different “demo styles” that can be nice, if there’d only be one type of demos made in the future this kind of nails what type of demos I’d wish that’d be :D
I keep hearing the music and I keep seeing scenes from this demo. This was such an awesome demo.
Doesn't run here, neither on Firefox nor Chromium:

+1

you don't need AI to generate nonsense content. You can do it yourself too.

"if you don't both shut up, I will cut this scene out and add more fractals instead."
I laughed :).
Pretty sure a music-playing robot would work exactly like that :p, and honestly, it’s one of the coolest greeting scenes.
Glad your inner trio reached a consensus!
This is a fun demo. I appreciated how polished everything looked. None of the shots had any visible artifacts or other ugly stuff, which should be a given but is actually a rare luxury. To get the "wow" factor one has to get rid of the "eww" factor first. I hope to see you in the compo also next year!
cool
Good vibes to the max. Another solid and well deserved win!
Decent. Slow in my updated Firefox web browser though.
Excellent soundtrack! Also some good effects and decent colors. The action on the screen is well synchronized with the music.
Plenty of really cool scenes. Music fits the visuals close to perfection. Solid flow. Strong modern Future Crew demo vibes (add some mid gfx art and youve gotten to the same level actually..). The greets jamming, just loved it + knowing how you have carefully handcrafted this demo and the related toolings. Absolutely amazing. A crystal clear winner to be honest 8)
Keep it up and us amazed - and challenged in the future too pretty please!

A bit disconnected but a great demo put together with a lot of care and attention to details. Instant love.
What a cool production!
You do it with style!
Fantastic demo. Beautiful, full of energy and rhythm. I'm glad it defeated all the canned 3rd party engine trash.
Tight and well-crafted. Some lovely color choices and the city scene was really great. Well deserved winner!
far from the most inventive or forward thinking demo in recent times (or even in this very compo), but an enjoyable work to look at overall; lots of passion. while the music isn't to my taste really, you can really tell that this is directed by a musician who knows that they're doing :)
a lot of the editing is way too metric for my taste, but i just love that there's a clear understanding with the pace at which the camera is moved at different scenes, and in general how the cuts work (the first cut and camera angle of a new scene, the order in which new angles are presented, use of parallax, etc.). aside from the visual fidelity and appealing pop music, i believe it's largely these details that lead to the high success rates of Grey Marchers demos in the compos.
also what cce said.

Massive demo and nice track!
Grayt :)
Great effort!
Beautiful and nice track !
THANK YOU. <3
