Probably one of my favorite prods from Revision. Thought I wasn't feeling in the first few seconds, but then I just had this realization slowly over time that I'm locked in and loving it.
Feels like Traction in its prime, really.

i really liked it conceptual minimalism. but some of the days felt a bit disconnected, either the music or the visuals not matching the words. and overall the music endpoints of each day felt unedited/uncared for, which kinda felt on purpose on the first days but then felt like sloppy edits on the end of the demo.
overall, one of my favorites from the compo but felt like it needed more polish.

Almost completely forgot about this… one shouldn't though, as it's among the best entries. To me in the same league as Let This Darkness Be, perhaps just a hair short.
The concept of presenting a demo as a collection of loosely connected vignettes is always been dear to me, and this immediately ranks as one of the most memorable takes on it. The music tracks are wonderfully chosen, akin to a kind of stripped down Oneohtrix Point Never; exactly what the visual style calls for. The end result strikes a perfect balance between captivation and allowing a mind to wander freely, crafting its own interpretations.
Visually there's perhaps a degree of naivete, and the feeling of wishing a bit more fidelity at a few places does creep in to my mind, but ultimately I'm nevertheless glad about this being the way it is. Perhaps it just feels less pretentious, more honest. I also just love the detail of having the demo framed within an inset, embedded in negative space, which just feels right in context here, placing the viewer at a distance, as if observing a painting instead of plastering the artwork as close to my face as possible. The only thing I do feel confident to slightly complain about is the choice (or maybe lack thereof) to stick to the default fonts.
Absolutely fantastic.

I am a huge fan. Wonderful textural audio and I am a big fan of the square crop within the large wide frame. I love the monochrome pallet. I think the editing is excellent. I cannot take my eyes off it.
I attended revision online and assumed this received first place... I'm surprised it didn't. Looking critically: I think may be it is missing over arching narrative arch? I'm not sure exactly what that means... but it feels like seven mini-demos and not a single demo of seven acts. Anyway, this is one I would show my family as something contemporary I think is great!

This is great!
what garg and noby said. outstanding
very artistic demo and i liked the theme
ok
Great concept!
Still can't believe it didn't rank higher. It also took me a few seconds to get immersed in the experience, but once the point was reached, i was completely in it.
Looking forward to seeing more from where that came from!

what everybody said.
Compo winner for me ! Don't know how this ended up at 8th place...
Concept.
My compo favourite
Amazing.
Not sure about the pacing and the music, but the visual style just works in the worst possible way. It makes me envious.

it left me cold on the visual side. but the sound is outstanding!
crazy
it was strange.
BUT.
i really liked it.
not every part was really insane, but i love day 3 for the visual part and day 4 for the music.
