nice idea but the rendering looks kinda plastic which ruins the realism
it's very nice as far as the modelling is concerned (some of the most intricate trees we've seen in close up in a procedural graphics entry), but as work that acts as a photograph, i feel too little emphasis is placed on the qualities of the light itself. unfortunately the lens flare leaves a lot to be desired, and i'm also a bit bothered by some of the apparent aliasing in the foliage?
