@nytrik Thank you for your comments. Demos should be judged more in context. It is a bad habit of some sceners to step on anything that does not meet their idea of perfection. A small consolation: It was worse in the 1990s.

Demoscene is more than just winning contests. It's friends, it's nice moments and it's a great way to find yourself. It can bring out the best in us.

I didn't have any context for this demo during the compo, but I already liked the numedia looks of it. Maybe I should do a processing.js demo myself.

There is no real spirit of passion on those "New Order" prods. And yes, we can see that those prods have been done by 11 years sceners coz it's what 11 years sceners will do, any 11 years children can do the same and it's amost easy if parents are scenerss too. This is not incrediball. So my judgment is about the prod i see and not the guys who have done it. The same prods done by dogs will have the same comments from me. 😊

But if I understand correctly, this time it was a one-man-prod (or more exactly, a one-child-job), very impressive 😮!

Some really dumb comments here. It's made by kids and thus deserves some leniency, but even beside that it's crisp and stylish and far better than many other demos in the same compo.

It's the problem. With your reactions, we have to like prods coz there are done by 11 years kids. Where are the rules about this ?
You have to accept all the critics, good or bad.
My critic have real sense, if you don't like it then ignore it but don't be vulgar.
And don't search to find some vulgarity on my last comment coz there is no one. If you don't understand what i've tried to explain you with "prods done by dogs", perhaps you prefer monkey or cats ? 😁

Kudos to Chlorine for this.

First : it's better than a lot of other (upposed-to-be-serious-adults) prods presented in the PC demo compo

Second: youngsters that enter into de demoscene needs to be supported and not broken

Third: any teenager who do something creative need to be praised whatever the level of the stuff they propose ---> a 9yo kid did a game for the game compo and it was a cool one, and like this demo, there is nothing to be ashamed for, only the opposite...

Fourth : you could hate any prod you want, but in this case it's considering that a baby who did his first step suxx because he cannot run like Usain Bolt (but, spoiler, ONLY Bolt can....)

New Order, please ocntinue progressing toghether, demoscene is fun, demoscene is pleasure, demoscene is life !!!

Je suis très fière de vous, enfin surtout Chlorine pour le coup, si j'ai bien suivi. Mon mari m'a demandé pourquoi je ne participais pas en graphs à la révision. Je lui ai montré le graph de Made de cette année. Il a dit "Ah oui. effectivement." En fait, je devrais, et surtout bosser plus. Bravo. J'ai hâte de voir la suivante et se retrouver à la VIP 021 !

Damn! I'm above the legal age and still cannot code, do graphics, and or make music! Kudos to Chlorine for his efforts at this age. Will gladly wait for your future projects. Hope to see more!
