Extremely cool! So allow me to nitpick.. the depth of field is waaaay too shallow considering the lack of any depth discontinuity handling. Especially bothersome when watching realtime! Actually that is all, other than that this in all its simplicity is really really excellent. There's a lot of attention paid to all the important areas usually neglected in 4k intros: the space of the action, camera work, cutting, tension/release, etc.. It's conceptually uninventive but my counter for EPIC SCIFI OBJECT ESCAPE isn't quite saturated yet. Don't stop.
Really awesome considering this is your first demo. You've already beaten a lot of the old regulars.
I like it, but a bit too blurish for me.

nothing new but really good looking :) i really like the design of the ship/object. music is nice too. good 4k!

Crazy good for a firstie! This is a great 4k without taking that into account too.
Well visually it's a bit of an eyesore (DOF is not like glow that you can just splash all over and it makes everything nice), the music alternates between utterly dissonant and budget C64 remake, and it ends right when I was hoping it to become interesting, but at least it doesn't overstay its welcome and is competently built, so a weak thumb because most of the problems can be written up for lack of experience.

Very clear sense of direction - good pacing, careful framing of shots, etc.
Music isn't personally to my taste, but I think it complements the visuals well.
Others have already pointed out the jarring DoF, which is my only major hangup with this intro.
Still, very good for a firstie, and I look forward to seeing what you come up with next :)

Smashed it out the park for a firstie!
This was nice. Some elements like the DoF were a bit overdone, but I like compact intros, and this had a lot of content for its playtime.

Really nice geometry and shading but i'm really not a fan of the over the top DOF. way too much, feels like you're hiding things. But it's really nice intro, looks lovely overall and incredible for firstie! Possibly the best firstie ever, well done! I hope we compete again soon broski, but this time I will win ;)
