Lots of really great stuff inside (I never thought I'd think that "wow, that's a nice-looking lens effect" and the graphics kick ass), but the presentation is way too restless and incoherent for me to enjoy fully.

Thumbs up for the sheer effort and overall quality.

bluray ISO with source code included in zip.

youtube

SoundTrack 155MB 92Khz 24bit wav

What Preacher said. Also, the pics stay on for too long, barely any sync etc. And why just one lens ball when you could have two.

I did not want the possibility of them touching.

Is it necessary to burn it on a BD-R disc to get it running on a PS3?
added on the 2012-04-08 19:24:12 by Sdw Sdw
The PS3 needs to have demo on BD-RE or BDR media to run. It should run on most bluray players such as Total Media Theatre or PowerDVD and PS3.

You can use the remote to zoom/spin the 3D models or control the wormhole.

Burn the ISO with the following settings.
Content Type: BD Video
Data Type: Mode1/2048
File System: UDF 2.50

this detail included in readme inside zip.
Damnit, I don't have a Bluray recorder, would have been cool to see this running on the PS3...
If Sony hadn't been such massive cunts it would have been possible to run it from a USB-memory, but they removed the possibility to run BD-J content from non-BluRay media in firmware 2.60 I believe it was. :/

World first, always a treat.

with total media theatre v3. you can copy the contents of the ISO on your PC's file system then drag the folder onto the software player program and it will run. no burner needed
Jesus Forcer.. Do you paint in your sleep? :) Great and many gfx! Nice platform.. Keep it up desire!

Balls should not touch. Touching balls leads to bad things.

1 thing that bothers me on second viewing: the rotation of effects and objects is completely disconnected from whats going on musically

I guess I hadn't seen or voted for the revision wilds already. This is the first time I watched this one and I love it sooo much. So many colors, tons of oldschool effects, graphics!!! Concept is great too.
rulez added on the 2012-12-06 17:37:34 by Optimus Optimus
re: colors - We tried to use them all. I wish there was more time for design and transitions. I'm just glad we got a working disc out the door. BD-J is the wurst. It was a test of patience jumping through license agreements, finding and building docstubs from five different parties, certificate signing, media soundtrack acc/dolby conversion, crashing dev environments, performance/speed/resolution issues, OTF font bugs, hardware incompatibilities among other things. One of the features that did not make it in was a stereoscopic 3d mode which was supposed to be used against the 3D model plane. This feature was not supported everywhere so no problems dropping it.
quite nice, cute music :)

Oh, missed this one earlier. Kudos on being the first on a platform. Liked the fun music and some of the effects/objects. Piggie due to the visuals and graphics being utterly random with zero coherence (and not in an endearing retro way either), ruining the overall mood.
