Super cool, very "outrun" styled. The music fits very well and the lead synths gives it the additional "noir" overtones the style needs.

The 80's VHS style perfectly recreated, a very fitting music, a delorean, and the demo itself fitted to the demoparty's theme... to be continued ? I want to see the rest !!!

Not bad at all! The "synthwave" isn't my thing at all, but this is quite completently mad, if a bit underdeveloped. The music at least def could use a bit more punch.
Also work on your VHS simulation ;)

If really needed, you may find a volume slider on a device near you... ;)
it looks like total clone of Miami Nights 1984, I like the video too but.. even the first scene with vhs effects is the same.. I had the same plans - to make something with that idea, but not a clone... some cameras are the same too

A solid runner-up in the car-driving-by-itself-through-a-city category, behind passing only (which covered the autobahn / concrete jungle angle of this trope); that this is yet another de-facto remake of a vimeo video is a bit disheartening, but then again, there's no ounce of originality in this concept anyway. A final with more content and a cheesy sax solo (and/or arpeggio riffing) would be neat. :)

Pretty even though choppy on my ancient box.
looks great and well polished! perhaps a bit monotonic, but still really good and nice to watch :)
Very solid work on the overall mood.
Fine retro aesthetic if one is into that thing, but come on now. One flyby scene, 2D graphics ripped from the retro wave generator, bland music, worse VHS overlay effects than what we saw over a decade ago (X-Mix 2004 anyone?) .. Sorry, no.

I like the visual style, regardless of how many times it's been done/used before. The music generally fits the theme, but I have to say that most instruments could do with a little EQ'ing and less reverb. I really dig the lead instrument with the pitch bend, though. Given it's a demo, I think a little more time could have really made this little star shine. The thumb still goes up for the work and the cool lead instrument ;-)

Great design! Car looks ace. Music sounds authentic. I like the pitchbend detail in the lead.
great looks > bad story > ..., but teh retrowave-style aint neva goes wrong <3
Solid but overdone in every aspect imho... VHS wasn't _that_ bad, oscillators weren't _that_ unstable and CMYK weren't the only colors back in the days. A little more subtlety would have gone a long way. I still dig the obvious work that has already gone into this though - and the DeLorean of course :)
