Very nice soundtrack (very much reminds me of the end tune of The Fulcrum tho), and that penultimate effect really kicked butt on the big screen. :)

That screenshot effect was the definitive highlight of the compo, the rest feels quite disconnected.
Together with Patu we decided to tell a story in our intro. Because we are big fans of Space Odyssey, our choice was easy. Second question was, what in the Space Odyssey was the most important, in our opinion. Monolith, of course, we agreed. So what Monolith is about and how to connect it with all the people from demoscene?
Perfection - common particle.
So the first part of the intro is in happy mood. This is when peerfection appears in our live - when we see cool demos, superb music and so on.
Then we have a tunnel - this is a symbol then we decided to create something better than other people do. In this stage we create new things, time is running faster, we are sorrounded by beautiful emotions, we are happy.
But we are concentrated mainly on one thing and we can't see other important things in our live. Like in the tunnel.
That's why comes another part in the intro. Music is changed, the Monolith is changed. We can see that changed Monolith destroys the world. So the same with perfection in our life. And the same in the Space Odyssey - main hero dies alone, with Monolith close to his bed.

Well, the protagonist doesn't exactly die, neither in movie and book :P
And I heard there is some connection between your intro and the actual monolith formation on actual phobos :)

Seriously, what the eff?! This production beats all entries even from the 64k competition single-handedly. My absolute favorite of everything I've seen from R2017 so far. That sandcube leaves me speechless. I wish there were games as stylish as this prod.
The non-landscape effects don't really fit in, but all the landscape scenes are fantastic. Really nice glitchy sounds, pushing Clinkster well beyond its "nice and smooth" comfort zone. :)
The cube in sand is a killer.
At some places it felt like 2001-2002 64ks, maybe because of the soundtrack. Very nice.
