Our 2nd and last C64 (NTSC) demo.

Right after our first demo "Evolution", me (Black Cat, aka F-Cycles) and The Might, started to think about making another one. There was so many things we learned and wanted to experiments.

In this demo, it was the first time I got sprites being displayed in border area! Showing 12 sprites in a digital part + trying a moving chess plane (just because that look cool). Also, I got my hand on a FLI software to draw logos which I used for the credits part. I also decided for that part to put 8 sprites all over each other which was no big deal, but I remember people telling me how they were amaze about the end result.

The intro sequence where it show: "optic vision" "presents" was a request of TheMight at 3am before the party event... I was exausted but knew that he had so much work on his hand... so, I told him... okay, I will do it! I coded it quickly send him back and went to bed.. next morning was the events and I was wondering if all parts did end up fitting on the disk?

TheMight was making amazing progress on his side. Managing to have a part running with a loader. His drawing skills also was improving... Although, the amount of work + other life activities become

After this demo being released, me and The Might started to work on our 3rd C64 demos. Myself, I was working on a 3D part using filled circles which were moving inside a sphere. My demo part was also showing a scroll being also displayed in the border (left-right).

We don't know how our 3rd demo would have looked, but chances are it would have been again a demo with multi-parts and some digitized music. I was still using monitor and I remember how painful I felt when I move to a compiler on PC! When you are use to type a run command and your code just run... having to wait for a compiler + a linker... then if there is a syntax error, going back to the text editor and so on...

In 2005, I was working on a comeback on C64 scene... going deeper about how to use the disk drive (1541), getting PAL/NTSC auto-detection, ... Then, Intruder & Sanyo (aka TronicSynth) convince me to move on GP2X. Sanyo, especially when he show me his GP2X and asked me help to learn how to program it. I coded in C using SDL a series of dot moving on screen and he told me... Wow, that's the most amazing things I saw so far on this device! I realized, yeah.. But, then I suffer from the syndrome... "never good enough to be released". Until... we show up in a fast-demo party in 2010, which unlock my go_and_release state! :P
