This is awesome. I especially love how you managed to keep the greetings parts in true teletext news style. :)
Lovely, lovely, lovely. Great style and lovely attention to detail.
This showcased and took advantage well the limitations of the platform, unlike some other limited platform releases in the compo by other groups in previous years. This was truly pushing the boundaries on an awesome platform. Worthy winner. I demand more.

It's fun to have people doing demos on “new” platforms, but I don't think this warrants a thumb. There's not a lot of effects, and they're not done in any especially novel way or with especially good sync. (I mean, the library is already there on GitHub.)

Well. Assembly Wild compo's are often won with massive gimmicks. I do appreciate the effort and the spirit but I have to say if I were competing in the same compo with a GBA/Dreamcast/SNES demo or such it would feel bullshit and in retrospect I've slandered (thankfully not in pouet) a lot better demo's than this for the same reason. But lots of people sure do love these sort of things. Just not interesting for me. Piggy feels fair.
