I wanted to love this, because i like this visual novel stuff. But i kind of thought it was less novel than it should have been. At least for me, so i have to go with the piggie here.

You will also need the neocd or the neocdz bios (a zip file part of the usual BIOS set of MAME/MESS, look for neocdz.zip on the web)

I really, really enjoyed this, actually more so than the other Neo Geo prod even though it might be technically inferior. The mood, flow and design are just lovely! And ilmarque's music is great, as always. :)
you have to put the zip into the roms directory of MAME. Make sure you use the latest version of MAME.
If it doesn't still work, try uncompressing the neocdz.zip contents into a directory inside roms called "neocdz". It should contain 000-lo.lo and NeoCD.bin.

Works perfectly fine in Raine 0.64.11! You can either load the .CUE or mount the ISO in DaemonTool, navigate to the CD-ROM letter and select IPL.TXT in the CD folder to launch the demo.

The zip at low.fi is now updated to "v1.1" post-compo version, fixing the side border glitches.
And yes, the demo hijacks the Puzzle Bobble game disc layout but replaces the used files with the demo data.

i like the concept / aesthetic and platform of choice to execute it on. love the music, gives it a very distinct vibe. demo feels a bit unpolished overall though.
