interesting find. pretty smooth tunnel effect. otherwise very early 80's :)
a bit too oldskool for my taste. ;)
this guy had a 20 MB hard disk in 1982?! must have cost a fortune!! O_O
Are those polygons or some displaylist trickery ? It seems a bit too smooth to be polygons :)
evil: Its just line drawing. I think 4 lines or more, composed into some "Animation". See "Song in lines" on C64 or the Mystify screensaver under windows. I bet the blinking things are Players hidden behind the bitmap.
Amazing 82 corridor
The dlist is made up mod $0c lines overscan (24 bpl/1 bit), there is a DLI to change the background color in the middle so it looks like the bottom. The playfield is really drawn into the screen memory and yes the lines on the walls are the 4 players behind PF1. So thinking about what > I < did in 1982, this clearly deserves a thumb. Especially considering that in 1982 the first PC was sold in Germany and it took 10 years to get the same corridor as smooth in VGA mode again ;-)
1982!!!
