No sourcecode because rushed party entry.
Tested and shown on XPSP3. Works at lower framerate on DosBox.
Expect a video capture midweek.
to be honest Abductee looks better. maybe it is also because at the stream I thought this one was mouse controlled because of the movement (like exploring some environment to find one colored block or something ^^) and the user just did not know where to go :D So I obviously had to high expections which ruin the realtime experience :\ but the sound is neat and it has design elements that make it demo like. i bet it would have been different if you had more time. enough bla bla. dos 1k is very rare. i'd like to see more bigger prods. so thumbs up :)

Thanks Sensenstahl : I also agree with you heartily.

Paname was coded in just 3 nights and finished at demoparty.

My goal was to try to make a real oldschool intro (with title/credits/music/movement/timing and camera path) in 1k 100% independent of an OS but targeted for an architecture like in the old days (here PC x86). Like your productions it could run without an OS at PC boot.

Although 1st and 2nd places in same category (respectively windows and javascript) were more impressive through the use of megabytes of accelerated OpenGL/WebGL/DirectX libraries/shaders, I felt the result was satisfying for aforementioned oldschool goal considering timeframe constraints.
superb

It was a hard situation to judge Baudsurfer when you have 256b, 512b, 1024b dos, javascript and windows all in the same competition. You made a cool production that runs with no external software and you stick with your oldschool style.

. Then it would seem the campath can be mistaken for user interaction which is good since more complex than linearity. But please await the video capture because actually the campath is linked to the music albeit absent from the live video stream.
Video capture added, courtesy of Astrofra of Mandarine. Big thanks to him !
Yaye!
Nice little one, good work for a prod done in 3 days.

Baudsurfer: I noticed the connection between music and campath watching it on my machine :) But still I like the idea to search something in that space/labyrinth ^^

Gray and totally not smooth, but ok for fast-made intro.
