Great engine and various cool game modes.

You'll be able to drive your car :
- on the moon
- in a paradisiac island
- in the mountains
- in a 8th level not yet defined (if you have suggestions ... ;)

i suck at racing games. but this looks nice though (= and neat music.

Tried it on my Falcon. Pretty smooth, but kind of lacks something. There's no squeaking sound or burning rubber when I go full speed and turn the wheel in the curves! :-)

Seeing it on youtube, it's not as smooth as I expected. And the animation of car rotating is lacking. Definitely some polish missing.

What Ferris said. The font makes it look like a 3DO game to me, so all good :)
High potential engine, the simulation of mountainous landscape looked/felt great on bigscreen. The ingame graphics are a bit odd but I see from the readme its just placeholders anyone can step in. Anyway, thanks!

It's pretty easy to make Polish roads.
Just make a whole bunch of roads with potholes; every time you run into one you lose the wheel.

the road/gameplay/feeling looks ace, but the car sprites are falling off the screen, feels like their Z position does not match up with where they are.
btw how is this done, road is full 3d, or a mix between raster road / texture mapping?

Cool, but needs polish graphics and gameplay wise.
Has there been any mode7-ish racing game like this one on Falcon ? That DHTML racer looks more polished than any racing game I saw on Falcon. It's a shame 'coz I'm sure the good'ole Falcon can pull something like that.
I coded a bit on Falcon back in 94-96. The usual: motion blur, bump, water, fire, rotozoom, displace maps, 3D w. mapping + zGouraud and zBuffer, effects in polar coordinates, ... but I don't have my 030 anymore :\
How fast Rave by Opium ? A steady 3 vbl for some kind of mode7 with rotation in 320x200 true color ( w. double pixels, and the game area being ~320x120 ) would rock massively!
