Maybe some explanation right on this page is in order, for people who don't click through...
This is a tiny tool to control an Epson EH-TW3200 projector via serial port, which was hacked together at Nordlicht to control the Beamstuhl of Death (since I forgot to bring the remote control.)
Sources on Github, should be easy to adapt for other Epson projectors, see the readme for more infos :)

Yes, see readme for relevant links. I'm not claiming it was a big achievement, but maybe it's useful to someone.
I'm actually more surprised that while you forgot the remote, you DID have a nullmodem cable.

Maybe local market has better supply of null modem cables, than Epson EH-TW3200 remotes?
