Really nice!
Any chance for a 100% Speccy version, with a Speccy cover of the song ? :p

Wow, this is more than just a pure video player. It combines effects with the video. I think this is a world first for an 8bit, I mean not just a full video but with this style of videoclip with combined effects. (Ok, there might be other examples I am missing, but haven't seen something like this style combination, so clever)
i really dont like this kind of music, but the visuals are awesome
Absolutely loved this, great mix of effects and video.
ZX Spectrum with an infinite amount of almost instantaneously accessible storage is the situation that will take some getting used to!

really unique prod, with a severe dose of coolness in it. congratz!

In the 80ies I dreamt of demos looking as cool as MTV spots - here we are, finally!
Yes! Yes! Yes!
gasman: Can you not just stream directly to a more democratic audio device like Covox?
seriously cool, well put together and i like the song :)
props for the rotating "corridor" (with the runner), that's very cool looking
Cool idea and some really nice visuals, even though the music was generic as fuck.
That was quite cool, not a fan of the music either - but mate - what you did with the sync there - I totally saw it. Nice work, and ace you landed that gig - well deserved! You rock! <3
Song sucks ass but I listened to the whole thing thanks to the fantastic music video!
Would be great to see how prod runs from DivIDE
Awesome!
I've watched this prod at DiHalt, it was kickass! Thanks for supporting DiHalt, Gasman!
Now that's a strange watch. Half serious music video, half speccy demo. It works though, both as a demo and a music video :D

Go, go, Gasman!
(Oh, oh, ah, ah...)
lvd, stop lying! you've been drunk like shitty pig. and you are screwed up demo, moron.
Really awesome! :) I normally don't listen to music like this but it (surprisingly!) doesn't annoy me! :)
Just great!
very original idea

Exactly what i thought. Btw i liked the first minute best. Very dynamic editing and the running man was way cool (and reminded me of certain ASD demos). You archieved the perfect symbiosis of video and realtime effects there. I Love it! (And yes, i even enjoy the music.)

great buildup, at first you think its a really slow streamer, but it shows more and more, great design, also cleverly picked video sequences, avoids showing high freq pictures mostly closeups ;) I also like the musical style. now I whish the next version has some cartoon style clash avoiding rendered anims, and more demoish music, going more wild :)
great work gasman!
u a a a!
I wonder... The program/data supposedly will not fit into a one 640Kb diskette (heh). But if it's forced to go from FAT of the Z-Controller too, You could make a full version, with music: for NeoGS.
WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! WOW!!

this is brill :) and the song rocks :)
Very cool! Surprised to see such a prod be an actual music video. Clever exploits of the gfx limitations. Reminds me of the streaming/expanded C64 stuff like BluReu.
"Music videos that look like demos.."
Wait!!!
Wait!!!
watched it like n times already! u a a a! some kind of a flawless demo!
Great!
Fascinating! :)
wow
Whilst parts of the ZX scene are busy worrying about the future of the platform or what constitutes a real Spectrum, and scene dramas threaten to derail any interesting discussions.. people like Gasman just go ahead and do amazing stuff.
Fantastic!
what evilpaul said
cool stuff..
Super Mega Epic! Really loved this. The loading part at the beginning with the progressive sync is especially lovely.
Absolutely stunning!
what StingRay said.
good job, Gasman!
good job, Gasman!
Music: Meh... Execution: Nice
At first, I thought ZX Spectrum could play clear audio like this. I was tricked. Haha!
that's some remarkable stuff for speccy.
Wow... Love the style
Looks cool! Pace and syncing feel really good! I'm not 100% fond of the colors of the first scenes in relation to the actual video though. Also the two halves feel disconnected somehow, a bit of reuse of the video-effects shown in the first part could have maybe connected them better.
Anyway. Great ZX music video!

AntDude: with full quality - only with an NGS sound-card.
awesome!
Hey, I ran this awesome prod with sound in emulator with NGS! :) But it's faaaar from the release...
Great speccy video digitizer!
How do I thumb up evilpaul's comment?
YERZMYEY/H-PRG: What does NGS stand for?
Cllsoe call for a thumb up, the music nearly ruined it, although it has real potentional, I found it kinda lacking in living up to the hyped feeling it creates.
Visuals were awesome though, and that rotation trick was neat!

AntDude: NGS is NeoGS (or NewGS), which is newer version of GS, which is in turn General Sound, which is ... heh, soundcard for Speccy, which has its own Z80 CPU running at 12MHz (24MHz for NGS) and capable of playing amiga modules. Try looking here: http://www.nedopc.com/gs/ngs_eng.php
Though streaming video on old machines feels like cheating, this is done nicely. And what JAC said.
Great!
Like! Is that a Waldorf Blofeld KB I see there?
Looks like microKORG XL
Great stuff!
Awesome!
awesome!
Very impressive to see something like this running on a Spectrum :)
Well, that's a killer thing right here.
hehe cool
yeah!
<3
Incredible!!!
loved it. run jonny run!
Very very fresh!
Awesome
how to make a ZX spectrum demo/video for a song. good version. :)
Absolutely cool! Unbelievable :)
cool one
One of the first speccy demos I saw, but never thumbed; what a shame. I enjoy this, good music too :)
