Watched it yesterday on WinUAE, I saw some polygon bugs in emulator shit, I have to watch it again in video. But what I have seen was already very good code, though not so massive as I thought by listening to the audio stream.
Oh my.. mawi won.. ah well.. Revenge is a dish best served cold :)

Great Amiga demo that I hoped would win.
Overall a good demo with great a effects but the complete production seems to be unpolished and it's not on the outstanding "Elude level". What do you mean with: End of Elude 2008-2012?

Holy shit! Good thing I was asleep under a table while this was shown or my head would've probably exploded. Totally awesome effects. Huge atmosphere...seems a bit inconsistent, but hell of a show of new effects.
The credits text part won me over.
That part was even better than I remembered. Seriously, probably the best looking thing ever made on an amiga, imo.

Watched it about six time and I see total awesomeness on the code side, and a total clash on the linking site :/ Please make a proper remix :)
just a note for people watching it on UAE. except the JIT thing you have to disable (blame UAE author, not us;) please run it with -slow param at least one of the effects depend on being run on slow hardware (this for a change is my fault).

What to say ... massive show-off, epic sound, effects that scratch the PC boundary, excellent graphics design - that's pretty much my personal definition about Elude as an appearance.

thanks for checking it on 060/50. i don't know if i will have motivation to convert some more pieces from C to ASM but maybe;) i only had time to try some early effects about two weeks before a party. then all the work continued and we didn't really know how it will run until we saw it on compomachine 4hrs after deadline;)

Wow! What a massive pounder with many great effects, even some never seen before things. Nice cube vol.particlesystem ;) Did you use Monte Carlo, as well?.. Somethings were missing to make it 100%, like a smoother design. Just that and this would have been the demo of the year!

Hah, loved the 25600000 faces gag. :) I must say this is my favorite Elude demo, voting must have been close! And the glowing dragon alone is very great. But this time you mixed it up and I enjoyed every part. I think I heard some improved Dekadence-snares in the music but I loved the music anyway! Hehe.

It should work. I have pretty much the same config (Blizz 1260/50, 64 MB). Just ran it again on OS3.9 (w/ Oxypatcher and cache boost 'n shit) from Shell and on a Non-Startup Boot w/ setpatch.
On the latter occation the demo "asked" for "ENV" which I just cancelled and then, after a few seconds, it started without any complaints.
Ok, got it working. Something must have gone wrong the first time when i copied the files to the hard drive..

Having seen the previous demos, I have to admit that this didn't really blown me away. Some effects actually look odd to me while I really like most other parts, especially the dragon scene and the amazing soundtrack.

Like everyone else is saying .. a somewhat inconsistent, possibly lacking finish and certainly could use direction. But the effects and music, judged individually by themselves are impressive and very much on par with Elude's previous releases. Hopefully this won't be the last one from you guys :/

this is my 'oh my fucking god' moment with Elude. Title sucks, I have no idea what's the story with the compofiller after years anyway.. if somebody could explain I'd be glad. Never the less one of the fav Elude shows on the Amiga so to speak.

Works well (full speed on my G4) on MorphOS/PPC. For fullscreen use parameter -double. :)
Slow stuff, perhaps it gets better when I crank up the 060, but at 50mhz this is a slowpoke.
