Technically awesome and I had some really nice Sky Crawlers flashbacks from this, but something in the direction left me feeling a bit empty. Some small extensions to the story and setting would've probably done it.

I've had a look at the HD version and I'd say, modelling, animation, compositing and the score are all pretty decent. If they manage to create a story that makes a lick of sense next time, I'd appreciate it even more. ;)

A lovely choreographed flight!
The only down side is that it needs a final version! Some billboards should be replaced with volumetric smoke, some low res textures and low polycount areas, and some scenes seem to be rendered in a low resolution.
