I see ZERO cubes on ATI. I'm really almost about to thumb down every prod that doesn't work on ATI. Stays a piggie, for now.
Dem shitlodes of cubes don't work on ati, the other one does. It's just cubes, with nice shading

The shitloadz of cubes version, runs fine on my 8800GT but it shows no cubes on my 5850.

Ok, I have added some safe versions to the zip file and it would be very interesting to hear what the error messages says (send e-mail to happy-h at hack.se or drop a msg to Happy-H on efnet if you don't want to post it here).
And don't be so surprised if it don't work on budget cards because for example; the shitloadz of kubez version tries to create a 380 MB vertex buffer (among other things). So an error message with HR=0x8876017c means you ran out of video memory.
For all 64 bit users out there. Sorry, no support for that (my assembler knowledge doesn't include coding with 64-bit support).
Users with cards with no support for multiple render targets or shader version 2.0. Go and by a new one.
Oh, and i also included a version that works on my old ATI Radeon 9800 pro :-)

abductee: I forgot to call ZeroMemory() on the DEVMODE struct, so either it is that or the resolution (1280x720) that is the problem

antdude: directx says it is D3DERR_OUTOFVIDEOMEMORY and it looks like it was returned from CreateVertexBuffer(). But I don't know the exact layout of the video memory, so I can't say why it is thrown.
