no credits for the music?
Other than that ... a slideshow like this needs 6 sceners?
Piggie due to platform, otherwise sucks.

With this demo, i win the demo compo of the party. You must see it on real CPC+ and not on emulator. Only lamers run emulator to see CPC+ demo. Music are transfered from ST. This is a CPC+, not a CPC demo, it's not the same.
only lamers steal music and have their shit uploaded by kabouter ploptimus
havoc: I don't see any problem if it's acuratly credited.
gross
Stolen code, ripped music, and one buggy crtc transition...
Well... it's an OFE demo after all.

You know, I had this problem. After several months I can't hear very well because I have accidentally pushed wax into my ear. I have gone severeal times to the same doctor to remove it. I have to go now once again. I am a bit shy to go because it's like I am coming with the same shit again. Ok, he told me to not clean my ear with cotton swabs but with some other ear-sticks manufactured in america or something but I couldn't find them. Maybe he told me other ways. But we didn't discussed it much.
Now I read, of course cotton swabs are not suggested but they say I shouldn't be cleaning my ears at all because earwax is actually there to serve a function (to protect from infections, etc, etc). It's not something that should be removed. And if there is more of it, there is a self removing mechanism so I didn't need to do anything at all. Nobody told me that!
All I had to do is nothing. Agh..
And then I am wondering. Are some hygiene things we do ok. For example, why shaving? Why cutting our hair? Cutting nails? I mean, when in the past people didn't have those tools and supposed "hygienne" rules we have, maybe hairs, beard and nails surved a natural purpose? Ok, with nails I am really wondering because if you let them grow for twenty years (there was an old lady in guiness book with a metter or so of nails) they become inpractical (Here, what did nature do wrong? Aren't there mechanism to cut nails automatically? Why our nails grow extreme but not the nails from lions or something?). But does a beard and long hair has positive or negative impact on hygiene? What is the natural and what is the improvement?
But I was let dumb by the cotton swab story. Although most people when they hear this they say it's bullshit because they think "but I should clean my ears, how I am supposed to change habits?". Well, ear cleaning was on of the few hygienne things I could enjoy, the rest not. I don't get it..

But I was let dumb by the cotton swab story. Although most people when they hear this they say it's bullshit because they think "but I should clean my ears, how I am supposed to change habits?". Well, ear cleaning was on of the few hygienne things I could enjoy, the rest not. I don't get it..
I have been stolen the gfx & design of my next demo. Original is here :
http://sylvestre.grimware.org/bordel/clmx2.zip
This demo won the competition because it was the single one ! I am proud to deserve hardos'tribute anyway. It means that my original Climax becomes really popular. Killmax is clumsy and testless, but these poor people made their maximum... demomaking doesn't only consist in doing copy/paste !
A lamer prod from a lamer group. Fortunately, Roudoudou gave some small consistence to a slide part.

Some pouet users make a good effort to drive me away from posting shit. Bad luck that the comments of a production from another scener are spoiled here.
Shitty prod with bad spirit. Grandes gueules, petits bras.
Yeah Great !!! Thumb up !!!
Better than ever.
Hubba Hubba.

@supersly: L'intro n'a pas été volée, Dada me l'a juste sonnée puisqu'il attendait depuis 3 ans que tu t'en serves.
Hi !
@everyone: The intro has been stolen.
@iron: The intro has been stolen. Still waiting 30 years more, Dada only could give you his z80 source code. The Gfx & DeZein are the works of only one person. This person name's Sylvestre, and absolutly not Dada.
In conclusion : thumbs down coz the intro has been stolen.

## Illegal Drama over telepathy ##
Nice sid-voice replay rout, too bad it's used to replay decade old and too famous (to me at least) tunes. Nice try to overcome the 4 colors limitation of the midres pictures with rasters, but the picture converter seems to be in it's early stage and should be improved to produce better results, esp. the dithering suxx. But I will take a look on the real hardware asap.
I still don't know why I'm hit by a car but it was somehow funny (esp. the DTC screen). Try to hit me with effects next time :)
So much people for not that much in the end, beside the usual funny french-drama :)

To all who are crying because i use climax 2 intro, remember that demo: http://bdc-iron.ifrance.com/gfx/graphisme/clown1.gif
Stollen by Sylvestre to make that: http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=29441
Stollen by Sylvestre to make that: http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=29441
Only that Sylvestre does it better, on a less powerful machine with original music and without stealing code ;)
@iron: On one hand, a picture of a ripped clown (but no demo), on the other hand a screenshot of a very funny demo with a clown which has absolutly no comparaison in terms of quality and colors.
that's it...
@pulko: yes indeed !!!
that's it...
@pulko: yes indeed !!!
@Flashsolar: not !!! In a hand: a concept, in another an other concept. Sylvestre don't make the intro, it's dada who make it !!!
hmm... so, if I am getting this right: now it's all about who ripped this picture by Ra first? imo, there's much more clowns involved than it seems.
@grimmy:
Ra used (without my agreement !) a picture of my face!
<|:O)

oh yeah and here is my approval for the drama
dto.
No interest. Thumb down of course !
Berk, crap, shit, burn in hell :)
@Iron: you should have credited the original music composers!
Intro: Synergy DBA Music Disc (3) - Scavanger.
Slide show: Cave - TAO of ACF.
End: Virtual Escape Main Tune - Furax / Equinox.
Theses musics were choosen by Iron because of using dual-SID-voices.
To answer some questions:
This player is quite old (2 years old), but is the first one ever released that can handle multiple SID-voices on the AY. Two Amstrad Plus versions of the players exist: a DMA-based (this one, which offers medium quality but can handle multiple SID-voices) and a interrupt-based (the one used in OFE de bois 2 years ago, which offers high quality but can't handle more than one SID-voice at once).
The player itself and the YM converter were written from scratch (except the pack routine which was loosely based on pucrunch).
It would be nice to use it with brand new musics!

Some nice ideas have been included and at least something watchable came out. ;-)
Poor artistic achievement !
if you want a good soupinette, take an old cauldron and you put the good of the vegetables..;i kiff ofesdemos!
loved roudoudou's part. best slideshow ever for Plus machines!
the slideshow is indeed nice, but I cannot thumb up a product when there are so many 'intrigues' going on...
Ca sue du derche.
Could be a good demo without the scene-drama and proper credit for the music.
Only lamers thumb up their prods

I see you changed your mind since this comment ;)Only lamers thumb up their prods
thanks to people who liked the slide, even if dithering was ugly and if their was many mistakes around the slide.
@Grimmy: still the best slide show on CPC+ but this wont last :p
you had no hair yet ?

do not post about it in the comments, it will get lost.

Basically no effects in this, it's a nice parody with name references to various demos, I enjoyed it because of the music and the colorful (with rasters) CPC+ screens (you need to set CRTC3 - CPC/ASIC on Winape32 to see them properly displayed).
It's always nice to see another CPC demo out there in our dead scene (yeah I know, I should finish mine :P) even though most of them lately are too simple with very few effects.
