I embrace the fact that OSX demos get more in quantity and better in quality, but this one was too slow (paced) for my taste and bored the shit out of me. Sorry.

Great demo, but lacks something that would have made it more memorable.

And great title btw ;p

Mixed feelings regarding this one. It does have a lot of potential and has a few nice scenes, but seems to end in the middle of it and lacks most of the typical "Spöntz"-style that usually adds a lot of life to each of your demos ... Definetly not bad though.

kudos for the scenes with flashes on the surface. the rest seems kinda hmm maybe not boring but lacks some tension, pace.

I like the soundtrack better than the demo itself, so thumb up anyway. :)

ok demo, but i would like to see more AAA-Demos
very slow paced. but a typical demo problem. Image qualitiy seems good thought.

Thumb up, no less.

maybe some pace towards the end would have made me thumb up...
...but all i remember from the compo is it was stuttering, as it does in the video aswell ! kills it somehow !
(sry, no MAC here, cant watch in realtime !)

Exin: I would prefer a working unibin build. ;]

hi Holid!
This error es because your gfx card does not support the GL_FRAMEBUFFER_COMPLETE_EXT extensions, which card do you have? please send me an email: xphere.at.spontz.dot.org

The only ppc mac that we have is a macmini, and does not support shaders... so we have no way to test it! :S

I thought it was rather dull and unspectacular.

Hmmm...

Hi Exin, as you said, the macmini PPC has the ati9200, wich has no support of glsl (pixel shaders 2.0), i'm sorry, but our demos (since cosmosis remixed), require pixel shader 2.0 to work properly.

I've also a mac mini, is a reat machine... but not for running spontz demos :'( ... not anymore!

Thanks for Win32 version, works here with XP + nVidia 9600 GS

Overall it's a tasteful moody demo with great music. It was not bigscreen-friendly but works fine on the CRT.

I think the scene at 1:40 is the weakest point of the demo, with its unsmoothed black edges (on DTV and here) and length.

True SF-fans have done this. Did remind me a bit of the movie 2001.

would have like things done a little nippier.. but on the whole the gfx are superb and look jaw dropping. I wish there was a way to make it bigger though, and fill my 27" iMac screen.. otherwise LOVE it!
