I love how you usually see these things built from shiny small pieces etc, but this one looks and feels so very "middle class Finnish neighbourhood". Plus, thumbs up for the effort.

The thing about Goldberg machines is that you see this insane apparatus and the ball goes from start to finish in one go. All the editing robs you off that sensation. It looks like they restarted at certain points, so it's really a poor man's version of what these guys did.
This saved my mentality between all the "funny" stuff in the compo, yay!

using the mentos-geyser was a pretty cool idea but i suggest watching honda's cog commercial on how to do something like this with style. (even if you have to edit it sometimes - which i suspect you did.)
