Probably the first real scene release on the Atari Lynx... Lots of quality effects but the design (especially the colours) could have been better. Deserves a thumb up anyway!
Some parts are not displayed correctly on Handy (Lynx emulator) but it works fine with the rest.

Not a quality demo, music is monotonous and there is no design, but it was impressive for me to watch an Atari Lynx demo. What kind of hardware does it have?

Isn't needed if you have the emulator and is really easy to use..

I just looked up the Atari Lynx... 16 colors out of 4096, 4 channel 8 bit sound? 6502 variant processor? Built-in 3D? and from like, 1989? Why didn't the Lynx do better against the Gameboy? I mean, I know why the Gamepark32 isn't doing so well, but the GBA is far closer and has more games; but the original gameboy didn't back then, why did the Gameboy win against a superior color and sound machine?

I should rephrase: Back in 1989 or whenever, the Gameboy didn't have the installed-base advantage, yet it won over a machine that was far superior, far more than comparing the GP32 and GBA today (and besides, the GBA now has an enormous game library). How'd it do that?

FYI: There have ALWAYS been machines on the handheld market that were/are superior to the nintendo consoles.

The gb/gbc/gba was never top-notch technically. The answer to your question is a) a lot of gained third-party developers, b) low power consumption (very important when it somes to mobile gaming) and c) marketing.

And once nintendo got the quasi-monopoly, they could defend it easily with backwards compatibility etc. The situation might change in the future though.

Really Cool!
Sage - More!

Crusader:
because Atari was just unable/didn't care much about marketing. Which was in fact Jack Tramiels fault solely. He made the whole company went down the river. Atari Lynx, Atari Jaguar (an absolute superior console at it's time) Atari ST,TT, Atari Falconhad done much better with proper marketing/managment... :( :( :(

Lynx roxxor!

Well, the demo sure roxx, but the Lunx had such a crappy display. The Lynx 2 had also only GameGear like quality, which is still hard to stand. Instead the gameboy screen, you can see it from almost any angle. and the resolution is okay...

Thumbing lynx prods. I was a big fan. Note it was the first console/computer with hardware graphical acceleration, but with 2D! It has basically hardware "rotozoom" for sprites.

Great test file for my Lynx Flashcart!! I've been able to watch most of it. I'll be sure to do a videocap for this once I iron out the bug in my flashcart which crashes on the last part.
