i see some effort and i especially digg the cherry tree, but the rest is still just unbalanced average.
Very uplifting and a pleasure to watch.

here, have a thumb down, just to remind you never to slap such an ugly depth of field effect on a scene again. it doesn't work if there's nothing in the background!

I don't call that "dof", I call that "simulation of bad eyesight" or "the projectionist got sleepy and fucked up the lenses" :-/
You just ruined a lot of nice effects by having an horrible fuzzy outline all over the place. (And I'm honnest here: For me it's borderline headache + escape key)

Perhaps, I think that it is their current demo and the best.
The first scene thinks that it doesn't connect with the following scene.
but, the scene after that was cool.
Their efforts are worth obtaining the thumb though the overall balance is not taken.

They made this demo in 2-3 days though it was a right opinion as for DOF.
It is worth obtaining only even of the effort the thumb.
Anyway, keep up good work!

not bad, but depth of field != blur everything to death, then blur the background some more.
Although the demo fit together quite well in terms of colours/style, it felt like there was little direction guiding the flow between the scenes.
Still, liked it a lot. Keep getting better - looking forward to 2chparty! o/

Really great! Catchy soundtrack with nature theme (reminded me of Sunflower and Nature 2.0). Maybe my favorite of the compo! <3

Quite pleasent but imo the intro sequence didn't really fit the rest
Most scenes looked really nice, although direction was lacking.
At first, I thought this might be gz and basehead, aka the Order of K aka K-Rad (the DOF and ribbon style is similar), but nope, they flaked. I liked the uplifting music and bright colors. I'm a sucker for depth of field too, although it wasn't quite right on close-up objects. On my R4850, it ran too slow by default, and even in "low quality mode" the cherry blossom part was still slow. Keep it up, I hope to see more demos from you guys!

Quite enjoyable. The only thing i didn't like is how everything's blurred. The idea of DOF is that you focus on something, not that the whole scene is blurry (like needing glasses).. Really like the feel of the demo though, so a small thumb up :)

Cool. I liked the chord structure in the tune, and the gfx were done well.
Btw this runs fine in HQ mode on an ATI 3870. The grass and blur effect even look better than the HD demoscene.tv version (grass shading is smooth not all polygonal).
Should've been a lot higher. Looked very good, though it was also very slow even on hd8450.
