You might be missing Managed DirectX dll's. running dx9 dxsetup.exe /InstallManagedDX might help.
Also don't forget to check the sound box :)

very weak soundtrack, but the rest was quite nice.
The soundtrack is abyssmal...the colors were bad (though I was warned by the title). I really can't believe this placed above biocore.

Nice work, but I really dislike cmyk palattes :(
this wasn't bad, but just like the northern dragons demo, the music annoyed the living hell out of me. but the nd demo at least had a unique look, whereas this one just has a 4-color palette and AO - not bad, but not exactly fascinating either. piggie!
definately isn't bad. I'm amused by the number of people that failed to check the box for sound
