What a magical moment, seeing this moving. It looks so awesome, but it would have been cool to have more demo style in it. Faster camera, more twists and a different music style. It's a bit too calm for me, but visually a full blast!

This worked better as 4k gfx, to be honest. Nice raytracing or whatever it is, but after a few moments I'm done marvelling at the technical achievement and want something more interesting.
Still, having rendering like this in 4k with sound and all is pretty damn awesome codewise, so I really can't give this a thumb down.

Worked a lot better as the 4k gfx. The rendering quality is turned down a lot, the framerate is really too low to be enjoyable (for any decent quality) and the camera movements etc is not really what I would call an intro.

I've always been great fond of raytracing so this really was cool. The whole concept reminds me about topics from 1992-1996, during the DKB, Vivid, PovRay time, when guys like Coy spoke about "realtime raytracing" :) Nice nice and it runs fine on my box in high res.

I do like it as an exercise in rendering technique, though of course a lot of it is precalced and thus very static.
Other than that, it's forgettable and by now hardly remarkable at all. Thumb goes up because it was one of the first 4k intros I saw and I was very impressed back then (though a lot more so with texas, in the same compo).

Belated thumb for a historic prod from one of the best 4k compos in the past decade.
I am even more impressed now, realising the technical flex you managed to pull back in 2008.
