It is not an explosion, it is a sun, breaking through dense acid smoke. The main feature is fog calculation - notice, that it is reflected in skyscrapers. I thumb my own product down, because I had to explain it.

i admit i thought it was an explosion too - but the rest looks nice. some nicer lighting would've worked better.
