very unconcluded on this one,but i liked how the objects moved and i guess a motivational thumb to do (even) better next Time can´t be wrong.!
Whoa. The beginning certainly didn't try to claim any kind of awards for showing promise, but in the end, it was a really nice show. For a first (?) production, it is quite excellent. The effects just kept on getting better throughout the intro. I especially liked the trees and the falling line things.
Perhaps you should focus a bit more on the presentation (colors, sync, transitions) the next time. Then you'll really go places.

And oh yeah, the object movement was indeed rather "natural", in a very good way. Strange but cool.
you should have included the 4 Megabyte custom binary (d3d) that makes up most of this 'intro'. (all 'intros' with non-graphicscard-vendor dll's are in fact demos.)
I don't see why you would need that file in this prod anyway, so piggie...

Doesn't run here :|
I was digging the musiic towards the end, in the "shiny" objects part... having Amiga flashbacks.
REALLY slow here on a 8800GT, using latest drivers and any resolution.
I've renamed old d3dx9_24.dll to d3dx9_37.dll and intro run perfect without any modern beauty or unbealiveable effects as you may think when you use some new directX libraries.
So I don't see the sence to use latest "DirectX 9.0c build" for such bad and bored intros like this.
Music also suck.

nice PC debut. Cool music and some promising physics stuff. awaiting the next one
NOD32 says it contains a virus.
i got no sound
well, it was good, but the static grey background cut a big part of demo fun :|
Hope to see more in the future !

To anyone complaining about the d3dx9_37.dll: It's the standard D3DX utility library that's shipped with the DirectX SDK which makes the life of the programmer much easier. The process goes like this: you get the latest SDK from Microsoft (why would you get an older one?), you use a D3DX function (whether it's just a helper function to create a texture, or a vector math function, or whatever), you end up creating a dependency for the particular d3dx9_??.dll of the SDK. And Microsofts license terms for distributing them are a bitch, since according to the licenses you're not actually allowed to distribute it unless you create an installer for it, and I can magine what sort of whining THAT would cuse. Just upgrade your DirectX, the end user installer is available on Microsoft's web page and it installs every single one of the different versions.
You cannot and shouldn't really develop DirectX stuff with older SDKs, as they're not even supported by Microsoft properly, and new versions have new features. The good thing is, just I heard the clue shoppe is still open, so maybe you should pay them a visit. And anyone complaining about the use of D3DX in the first place: I think you should apply to the clue university. If they accept you.

Sorry about all the typos.
Hehe! The pc scene seems like a tough place to take a coffee break on. Nothing for no cowboys like we aren't! Maybe we should crawl back to our cozy Amiga scene, which we will be welcomed back to with open warm arms.. ;) Anyway! For those who are interested, here's the xm-tune used in the intro -> link. Yes!; no sound engine was used. The module sounds better in, for example, Deliplayer and/or Madtracker (which was used to create it) than in the Minifmod replayer which was used in the intro! Thanks for all the feedback! Cya.. :)
The PC scene is quite a cosy and fun place to be, you just need to ignore all the trolls and retards :)
... in other words, ignore all public feedback.
Splendid!
Very subtle and nice, makes you want to grab those smooth & shiny objects :D
A good work.
A good work.
its alright. the object movement is indeed good. @lira, update your drivers or fix your broken PC, the app works fine.
it has that miggi style/flow i like, thumb for that :)
more 4k than 64k.... no thumb down because of the music
fail
What elsewhere said. Also, the intro peaked before the credits. The credits were a bit of a letdown after things had picked up a really cool feeling.
also.. not sure what happened on LiraNuna's machine. It was basically all smooth on my 6600GT.
as tigrou said
it's quite ok, runs fine with iZ3D Anaglyph driver. That way made for relaxation !
cant quite put it why i like it )
yes, the flow where nice
