best from the compo
uh, right after the rgba one i mean :)
A bit cheesy, but certainly looks nice :)
PS3.0 and nVidia only. Hm. But I like those reflections.
Nice one.
great :D
star trek and amiga.. meeting legends :D
nice but subject is lame :P
Quite nice
well I assume you will fix for ati. My big problem here is you didnt really exploit path tracing (colour bleeding, caustics, indirect lighting) so the subject matter doesnt quite work for me. Infact I cant tell its path tracing except for the nfo. That aside its a great pic and deserves second place.
ugh just realised its kajiyas path tracing not sillions so forget what I just said- idiot. So Ill repeat...deserbes second place.
this also makes me despair
Captain, it seems we are closing in on a type 3 red/white planet. Beam me to the surface scotty!
Doesn't work here (XP, E2140, 8800 GTS 320) Looks mad on the screeny.
does not works
nice.
hehe, what magic said!
doesn't work...
Doesn't work here, too. Anyway, I prefer Star Wars instead of Star Trek :-)
black screen here, suspected long precalc but I left it for ages. (XP 32bit, Athlon X2, 2gb, X1900XT 512mb).
nice
Looks good.
startrekamiga!
really nice one
AMIGAAA!
Quite impressive, just the darker ball looks too 2D due to the lighting.
rockz hard!
ok
Black screen! XP 32bit, Athlon X2, 2gb, X1600XT
nice.
Very nice.
nice
nice raytracer :)
star trek !
engine - yes. picture. no.
meh
godt
can you get more nerdy? :) not that it's a bad thing..
Great work.
Impressive but I hate the generic nature of the scene. (meaning 'oh goody star trek [puke]')
amiga + enterprise = instant thumb up :)
yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111111111
Quite apt seeing as Star Trek TNG was rendered using Lightwave on Amigas back in the day...at least from what i recall.
looks stunning! If you get a real motive and throw away the furniture look ( there is something about raytracing, fire places and furniture )..
How about this one in 4K ?
How about this one in 4K ?
very nice, technically interestig. I'm wondering how you implemented the random number generation on the shader (for generating the ray paths). I think pathtracing is a good way to go in 4k executable gfx. Very very excellent
i don't really know what to think about this pic. on one hand it's pretty cool on the other it's quite ugly -> piggy
great
Cliché, but well executed.
3D models + raytracing engine in 4K! Bravo
My scene contains much more jitter than in the picture. 8800GT on Vista x64 here.
Enterprise + Amiga ball, now you push it quite far ;)
Really nice rendering.
Really nice rendering.
indeed, really nice
amiga+startrek = thumb
:)
Nice
Starmigaaaaaa
dunno how I never thumbed this; loved it when it came out!
