I have no doubt that its great. How is it a demotool, though?

Xenon : Although it's a great app, it's not more a demotool than Deliplayer or Winamp indeed.

Hm well it depends how you define demotool... or where your definition begins or ends... for example you can save stuff as .wav which can be used to create podcasts with chipmusic which is also a demo-related thing... well on the other hand I don't have the nerves anymore to waste my time with discussions like this.

I took my sync values with Winamp once :)
Need to try this out..

Personally, I think allowing general music players as demotools is a step too far, but then I am not the pouet police.

and once again, the old discussion...

i think demotools should be defined as tools released by sceners as scene releases for the scene.

Could someone explain me what is this tool good for? Call me a lamah but I found out shit from the readme file and just can't figure it out on my own.

Jailbird: It's a player for the standard Atari ST chiptune-format called SNDH ... aswell as various other formats. You can find out more info here.

ltk: hey thanks! This is the first time I get in touch with sndh music and found quite a huge bunch of lovely stuff!

Jailbird: I recommend the TSD tunes from Tao. TSD is a DMA-based format. It emulates the main features of the C64 SID-soundchip.

I can swear that I had commented on this prod before.
and no it is not a tool.

I second Dipswitch here...

so stop that senseless discussion. It has features that can make it a tool aswell. For example that you can switch off the channels and save the output as wave if you want to rip some sample... very usefull for chiptune remixers imho.

love it, will be my new default player for those (supported) chiptune songs.
