This reminds me a script that I had to play a random demo. The guy should continue working on this. It's a pain in the ass to add everything by hand. This with some sort of "kkapture hacking" to fix resolutions and stuff would be perfect... even though I don't use screensavers (I turn the screen off).

awesome, exactly what I was looking for a while ago. finally an easy way to use my favourite .com 256b's as screensaver!
