Using an idea in your code, the size of the 4k I'm working was reduced by 32 bytes. But I think that says more about my code than yours ;-)

wait not such an idiot :-). OK original exe worked for me but neither psychos code nor iqs (even after fixing line 2) compiled and worked. Eventually figured the problem was all those floats expressed as ints... so heres my question...
iq, psycho...have you both got Nvidia cards? If so that would explain it. The Nvidia drivers accepting and compiling whereas Ati drivers like mine, not accepting it.

Compiles finely and runs on ati radeon 9700m here (MSVC 6)

auld, ATI here, both at work (x1950) and at home (radeon 9800), and compiles and works fine fine.
hmmm then I'm lost. I had to carefully convert all the numbers to floats to get it to compile and then run ok.
My x600 does the same thing, it gives an error if you type 4 instead of 4.0. Some of the driver programmers need a clue..

The last time I tried Omega drivers I faced some weird behaviors here and there with some prods. Maybe switching to the last Catalysts would be worth a try.
