i´m not sure about the month of the release but without any doubt this is one of the first multipart demos on ST, still rocks!

I have just started watching some AtariSt Demos (Demos like Virtual Escape, this one, and 2 more which I will need another emulator I think to watch em properly...)

I liked this very much! From the few demos I have seen I think that AtariSt demos are more code oriented (As Amiga are more Design oriented)

Great Fx and 3d! (They bored my ass ;)
Very nice Fx. I loved very very much the music!!!

Lot of parts, haa tha unlimited 3D bobs: how sweet, the amazing 3D sinuscroll, the <3 stencil vectors...

(Agree with you Optimus about ST & C=)

Optimus: because stefan/lator/arneweisse is retarded, he probably did not even bother watching this demo. Just the pleasure to give thumb downs (same goes for the 50 linux demos he flamed yesterday)

when multiparts took over megademos and main menus!

Yes, one of the first "mature" ST prods. This is 16-bit, earlier demos were just souped-up eight-bitters.
rulez added on the 2004-09-15 12:54:11 by DJ Fistfuck DJ Fistfuck
Though other demos were also cool and somewhat more innovative this one was simply different at that time.

Although the guestpart from TBC was a little too long in duration, as well as the 3D objects part, the overall demo is FAKKING GOOD :)

I have to admit that we made a never-ending demo at the time. It was more than 20 minutes long, that's quite insane :)
TBC's guest part was the longest part but could be skipped with SPACE key afair. It's also true that the 3d part was too long.

It was indeed the first full demo with trackloading all along on the Atari ST, without the usual megademo main menu, so dear to Atari ST people ;)

By the way, it could have been even longer, but some effects were discarded or kept for the following demo (Virtual Escape).

defnitly had some too long parts.

Nice demo, but not quite the first "Amiga-multipart" as stm claimed. Demos like X-Plotion by Imagina, Bad Taste by Brainless Institute and Mathematiques Squizophrenes by Dune were made before. Although none of them is of the same quality and this one.
rulez added on the 2007-04-30 20:16:05 by evil evil
evil: were those prods trackmos?

Coz I remember when we finished this one, we were quite happy to release the first real trackmo on Atari ST, with continuous trackloading in the background. But we might have missed a prod or two back then :)
added on the 2007-04-30 20:43:24 by keops keops
Keops: I don't know, I just commented on stm's "the first atari multipart!" line.
added on the 2007-04-30 20:47:33 by evil evil
evil: ok, gotta check those demos coz I don't remember if it was the first real multipart or not.

It's all nitpicking and bollocks anyway :)
added on the 2007-04-30 21:08:45 by keops keops
At least Brainless Institute's demo is a trackmo, and we might include Aggression's Overdose to the list of multipart demos made before Bollocks.

Anyway, Bollocks is a great demo, one of the best ST demos with many nice parts, although none that great so that you would have to crack the demo to beat them. ;)

But arrogance is always appreciated in a demo so two thumbs up.

Some of the parts are way too long (hooray for Steem's fast forward feature :D) but it's still a cool demo. Lots of nice parts.

Resurrected an old STE, was going through some floppies to find any interesting ones that still works... Success!

Eat My Bollocks is still perfectly enjoyable in 2009 (nostalgia or not)...

Doesn't work on Steem and on STfm 1Mb. Shows only a red screen - and gets died.
Any ideas?
YERZMYEY: it looks like the msa file was corrupted (same goes for the Vodka demo). Download link updated, it should work fine.

Lotek: This one and the Vodka demo seem to have a corrupted .msa on no-fragments. Any chance you could check and update with the working files?
