Indeed, sinescrollers, plasmas and cubes are totally new, I've never seen these effects before. \o/

Selfvote and I don't find it very interesting with a demo maker.
The biggest plus is what seems to be a bunch of new chipziks.

Compared to other DCK stuff definitly nice!
Considering the total lack of ST releases in the last 6 months, this gets a pure thump for showing activity :D

Nice megademo, it shows how to break the limits of DCK. Basically, DCK can't do plasma, parallax scroller, dots, etc. so thanks to Tomchi to make it possible :)

Actually, i've seen screens a lot worse than these but then again,
there's hardly anything new in them either.
Can't really judge about the DCK thingy ...

For all the work, the musics, and also because Tomchi did please himself first !
Tomchi, i hope you'll give a try at assembler or GFA soon :D

But DCKly-speaking, yes, I'm sure Dom/Replicants himself would be amazed of some effects you have done using the tool.

So keep up the good motivation, forget this stupid behavior and show us a good ST demo, DCK or not.

So I'll keep my thumb up for the next one !

En fait je dis juste que les effets sont originaux pour du DCK: c'est vrai !!!
Le seul ecran ou je dis que je suis bon, c'est pour le sinus scroll.
Mon gars, je trouve que ton commentaire et tes "conseils" sont bien plus pretencieux !!!
Ce que tu prends pour de la pretention n'est juste que de l'euphorie ...

certainly not bad for dck but can't really compare it to the quality st stuff already around. still, seeing the graphics and the amount of screens, i'd almost thumb up.. tomchi: good job! i really hope you go on making demos. maybe in gfa or asm next time?

J'ai pas donné de conseils, j'ai jute dit que j'aime pas le ton (ok disons que c'est l'euphorie) et le design. Mais techniquement ca déchire pour du DCK...
Je vois pas ce que ca a de prétentieux non plus...

Reminds me of OSDM. Sure the fx might be good for that particular piece of crap toolkit, but they're still crap. If you're skilled, code some real stuff.

J'avoue m'être embalé sur la réponse mais franchement si ça donne cette impression ( je me la pète signé tomchi :P ) ça n'était pas du tout mon intention.
Mais bon, rien à redire sur le fait que c'est moche ou chiant ou que la musique est nulle, en effet chacun son avis !
Et puis j'ai fait ça "pour le fun" et posté sur atari forum pour que quelques personnes le voit, non pas pour revendiquer quoi que ce soit !

I didn't knew someone can do so much with a demomaker. I thought they were very restricted (at least the PC demomaker I had seen is for all the similar screens). Whatever, I hope your next demo will be coded, but I enjoyed this one nevertheless. If I didn't know it's made with a demomaker I would never guess that..

I liked the rasta/plasma thing best. I will also thumb in context with the current activity (lack) of the current Atari scene ;-)

as for the prod: can't really judge but it seems fine

Lots of effort here, definitely a labor of love, even if it's a crappy tool inappropriate for the job. I've been there, wasting lots of time making complicated 2D and 3D effects in Microsoft Powerpoint.

Also, the music is really good.

Thumb up for the effort to squeeze out something from the DCK that is more than just a distorter or scroller, design could be much better anyway...

DCK sucks... But glad to hear you had fun using it. Hopefully the next prod will be selfmade :)
