They are doing the mistake of repeating the boring effects.
pros: some interesting objects, the ever-sweet toonshading (even despite bugged and applied to uninteresting objects), pieces of good design here and there.
cons: boring d'n'b track, too chaotic synching, repeating scenes and, as mf! put it, it lacks any highpoint\climax of some sort..
but it's still not worth a thumb down in my book.. 8]

This would have seriously kicked ass as a 64k intro. The 3D looks nice, but the whole thing is getting a bit repetitive after a minute.
At the end it gets a bit boring, but all in all it´s very nice. Cool Colors, cool 3d-style, nice music, etc. Thumbs up.

i really like the demo, shouts out to pandur/dip/ave/igor for creating this. i really appreciate this work. respect for releasing this at uc6.22 which ain't no big party at all.

Mhmm, repeating the whole demo and it's not-that-great scenes is almost a crime. I'd rather watch a short and unfinished demo than a long and self-repeating unfinished demo for a second time. The music doesn't fit and it's also a little bit dull and empty. The design is alright, but lacks detail. Sync was ok, but much too hectic towards the end.
Still, a fairly good one, but Block Maniacs remains my favourite BM demo, even if it faces similar problems (unfinished&empty).

Great camerawork/sync, cell shading rocks, and the design is nice too. But the music could be alot better (I like dnb, mind you), repetition is catastrophic and makes the demo long and boring.

my music seems to cause lots of confusion =)... well, some people like it alot, some people don't. i'm quite satisfied with it, of course it's far from perfect but it at least gave me a good feeling seeing single people on UC actually dancing to it. and, well, if my music draws so many (positive and negative) attention to itself, it isn't so standart, and thats what i intended it to be. to those who consider this music too dark, i just can say, i don't like to make "happy happy joy" music, my music must be aggressive and cause many controversion =)... and leia, no i don't rip samples from no games. and watch out critizising others music as your musical work for squirrelz was far from perfect till now..=) no hard feelings though.
as closing words i may say, even if some poeple wish i won't give up (doing music too long now to give it up anyway) and you can expect some music in some forthcoming productions from me aswell.. demos cant only contain pling-plong-ish undefined "demo"music no people in a club would dance to.

Looks really nice, but looks like someone ran out of ideas and started repeating the same scenes all over again (boring). Music ain't that good (even if I am a huge dnb fan, or maybe because of that).
the prod is really cool, but the music is ... hrm, rather weird.
sound screws up with my soundcard, so the music was terrible. Playing it standalone proved the audio isn't *that* bad.

the visual side of demo really kicks... really nice show. on the other hand, connection between visuals and sync is not as exciting. music doesnt work for me too - its really not a bad track but nothing special and doesnt keep up with the demo.
anyway, because of the visual candy its a worthy one.
raver, can it be that your comp is kinda slow or smth ? the sync was ment to be very exact, and it IS on fast machines. we spent 8 hours on the sync too...=)

Was almost a thumbs up, even with the cliche cell/cartoon shading, but then they decided to repeat all the effects, because they couldn't think up any more to run out the soundtrack. Just cut it short next time, guys. Otherwise yeah, some nice visuals and the music ain't bad.

great demo. the tune is damn cool.
okay, since igor left BM there's not really a chance for a final version. so i decided to give the final version of the soundtrack to the public. the horrible drums of the party version are replaced by far better ones, a decent bassline and a few other bells and whistles were added too. here you go:

and also, over two years later, i can say i'm feeling very sorry for firing up this unneccesary rant here. my music wasn't the best, period.

hmmm i dont really recommend to replace the musicfile. tried that, but then it's pretty out of sync, although the final music version has exactly same length.

Cartoon style rendering never really interested me that much, especially if it isn't done as close as possibly to perfection. Very "cool" still, with well above average syncing. Track's a blooter as well.
