One of the most memorable UNIX demos.
nothing to say, it's just great.
As it clearly states, this is actually originally a linux demo and is in fact bundled with (at least) Knoppix 3.2 and 3.3. But it's portable :-)
The beginning is very Matrixish, and in a good way. And then it becomes just plain cool.

It's been on 3.4, 3.6, and 3.8 (dunno about 3.5, didn't have that one) knoppix cd's, and will prolly just be on every one (: And, yes, it's just a straight up good demo, with very clever use of the AA lib they wrote.

I've watched this demo years ago, when I installed libaa in my PC with Debian. It still impress me as much as the first time I watched.

Oh my. I remember this being supplied as part of a knoppix based recovery CD in 2003 or so. First demo i ever saw ever. It is probably even better nowadays now that i know what the hell is going on what it was supposed to be.

Just one demo that can launch on my notebook.
One of my favorites, spent a while trying to hunt down a bug that caused it crash at the torus when compiled for 64-bit x86 and run with a large console size. sizeof(long) == sizeof(int) isn't always true, guys :-P
Seriously though, I freaking love this demo, the music is great, the effects are cool, and it's just plain fun. One of the all-time best, and all it needs is text.

Still one of the best Linux demos. (Works fine when compiled from source with the Debian patches.)
I tried making a better capture (the youtube one is an eyesore), but ffmpeg is too much of a resource hog on my old laptop for the framerate to be stable enough :/
