fuckings to nvidia, btw. The complex scene in the screenshot had a nice envmap that worked on every machine and card EXCEPT the dual-card sLI geforce 8800 compo machine.

Very nice, but doesn't really do it for me. The music could definately be better. Nice particle-effects though!

Worked fine on my 6600 GT. Thanks for your help and kindness even if we did not make it in time btw ;)

After having only seen "Signal to Droids" before, I was a little disappointed with this. The last scene (screenshot) was cool but the rest of the visuals and the music did not appeal to me at all. Hope to see something nicer from you at Asm07.

started out nice, but it kinda lost it's touch and started feeling a bit pointless towards the end.

The Northern Dragons have improved a lot over the years. This was probably the best-designed demo at Blockparty.

inevitable local-scene-support bias, i'm sure, but i admire the clean design and music in this demo. signal to droids was more fun but very repetitive. i hope to see continued creativity and maybe some North American groups that can defeat ND in the near future. :)

They might have improved over the years, but this is just crappy. The scene in the screenshot is nice, but on a whole, this feels ugly and unfinished.

Not interesting at all to be honest

was ok, specially the pi thing and the last scene, but its still missing something.. probably related to having less glow and more graphics..

very nice, great work dragons!

Loved the music. Nice vertical scroll effect through demo. Felt stylish, planned and well thought out. Best ND I have seen.

Some good moments, many uninspired ones. The first minute or so was great.

great lil effects with ASD-ly fluent transitions!

i particularly like the trace/symbol idea :)

ND save the day!

Quite nice demo. Nothing special but I liked it. Music could have been better.

Like it. Creates a nice matrix-like atmosphere though missing some mindblowing fx. Nevertheless, nice exception from nowadays standard polished productions!

what kind of retard puts a SLI-setup in a democompo machine?! i mean, come one people -- this is compo organizing NO-NO 101 :)

what shifter said, plus, the only GOOD scene couldve used baked AO or smth to make the lighting at least less 1997.

Nice little demo, and it's always cool to see prods that manage to stick to their concepts.

Actually it was donated/loaned by a local pc shop. (and it ran debris like a motherfucker, holy shit) The orgas were very cool about letting people test on it ahead of time. We had to iterate a few times to isolate the envmap thing. It made the final scene slow to 2fps! D:

kusma: SLI-setups have always been a problem at democompos because democoders are lazy and the driver-support is usually sucky, which makes the compo end up as a large, flickering booooo!-fest :)
