making of deadpixel controversy: Coming to the network table at about 13:30 on Saturday I see iq and enlar of rgba making a rotozoom, naturally I have to ask "what are you doing guys?" and when they reply "we are contributing an effect for a psp demo", I can't but ask for permission to contribute... launched notepad at ayame's notebook, placed courier 32 and went to port off-head my lastest starfield effect to C code.

About 30 minutes later i was ok with the code so I handed it to enlar and after cursing me for un-indented code he massaged it to run on his effect launcher. Realising 2x2 dots would look too dark, we patched it to render 3x3 dots and then afterwards iq noticed i was using only 4bit greyscale instead of 5bits available... so now it looked really really really good at the psp screen (what doesn't? ;) but finally was too dark for the bigscreen :(

Anyways since this is a soft-render demo we are preparing final release with ports for some other machines and the like.

ithaqua: yes indeed it's "my making of", I can't really know all these details for the other parts :) I've tried today to make it run on pspe under windows but didn't manage to make the emulator work...
