Nice oldschool style. Bit short, but sweet.

And can anyone tell me why a pc with 6ghz of cpu and 2gb of ram STILL can't scroll as smoothly as an a500?!

If it isn't smooth then I must blame the sdl backend I used (I'm not sure how to force vsync in windows).

It was originally coded on a p133 and on there it doesn't drop a single frame. If anyone has any good tips on how to fix it you're welcome (the source is out there too, but i'm not sure if it is entirely up to date with the latest binary).

corrupted exe

@StingRay: it requires msvcr80.dll. Just install DotNet Framework 2.0 and it should work.

Nice sphere fx btw...

Skate: thanks. :) I will try it at home then. :)

smooth scrolling on pcees is a nono nowadays since it was only 100% sure that one could use a reliable vsync under DOS and using "old" VGAs/CRTs..
Win32 & Userconfigurable/forcable RefreshRates & optimized GFXdrivers & LCDs make it near impossible to code smooth scrollers that run everywhere!

Tried it here at home now and it worked perfectly. :) Nice little intro with an awful soundtrack.

About the prod: It was ok, not brilliant.

About "corrupted" exe: It seems to be corrupted cause it has been compiled with VisualStudio 8.0 (2005). I dont know how to get that program running, but my guess is that it needs .NET 2.0.

Well yes, I downloaded this demo 3 times but the exe is corrupted. Does it need a DLL? Can I have it? I really want to check this demo, look interesting from the screenshot but wtf? What Net2.0?!
