Should I upload nasm and gcc too? Or watcom c/c++ (which has gone opensource).
Maybe we need an utility prod type for utilities/tools/emulators done by sceners. Btw, Gusemu is on pouet.net too.

So here is an advise from an old asm 680X0 coder.... Yes, this is an assembler, and yes, it is completely scenish, done by sceners for sceners. That's why it implemented some build-in scenish macro like 'read an .IFF image and include it as raw binary'. Note it was still developed around 2000 , and the last versions supported PowerPC assembler !
Maintaining a 68000+68030+FPU + PPC assembler is sure not an easy job. So thumbup for all .
Beside that... personnaly, I always used DevPac which was a professionnal assembler,
because I trusted it more to generate some spec' that was more code-standard than scenish.

Yeah, these comments sure seem coherent. Personnaly, I'd stick to the argument that an assembler is not specifically a demo-related tool, even when it's creator(s) may be (a) scener(s) or a few features are tucked in that make the life of the copperbar-guy next door a tad easier.
the "made for sceners" part is what keeps it somehow relevant for pouet db.
Come on! Look. Its an assembler environment written by demosceners for demosceners. Its not like HiSoft Devpac.
Pretty much all asm-coded Amiga demoscene productions are done in Asm-One or a derivative (Asm-Pro).
If Protracker can be here, so can Asm-One.

Imagine the terrible idea to code an amiga intro came into my mind. Instead of asking an amiga democoder (that would be toooo easy) .. I can just search the pouet db and find the tools I need!
I think we should just delete Plek and any 'scener' who believes that dismissing a complete platform is a positive action for the scene.

Preacher: Well, if that's a good enough reason to thumb this up than I'll thumb it up because Ground Zero, the PC section of The Flame Arrows was IMHO one of the coolest dutch pc groups ever :-)
I have spent countless hours with this program! And i still didn't get out one single demo... Trust me, it says a lot more about me than the program... It's a nice and fast program, so thumb up :)

ASM well its right here and also beside this here should also stay masterseka. this tool did so much for the scene, so a bit more tollerance for this "products" aslong as not memacs from wb 1.2/1.3 will appear, its ok ;-)

its a demosceners-prod by Promax/Kefrens aka Rune Gram-Madsen (based on SEKA by a scener aka ??? i still think it was Promax aswell, but a short google-search yielded he got into SEKA at v1.51 first :/)
my point is: this not only has to exist on Pouet, but is essential, without this tool i wouldnt be doing 4ks on PCs nowadays at all! i still dont know if the thumb is correct here tho, as this is just SOME VERSION of ASM-ONE (i never used and is based on promax code anyway!)
